Effingham County 4-H’ers merged their hearts and hands to create Easter baskets for local residents. As part of their monthly community care projects, students are given opportunities to express their gratitude by extending a generous hand to the community of Effingham County.

4-H is a supporter of such projects as Treutlen Boys Home, Pregnancy Care Center, Salvation Army, Ronald McDonald House, and Pennies for Childhood Cancer Cure, local food pantries and other various service venues.

For more information on becoming a volunteer for 4-H, contact the Extension Office at 754-8040.
