Alexis Floyd received a scholarship from the Ogeechee River Soil and Water Conservation District.

She is the daughter of Wade Floyd and Suzanne Dasher. She plans to attend Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in the fall and pursue a bachelor’s degree in diversified agriculture.

Effingham County Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor Jackie Davis presented the scholarship to Floyd at the Ogeechee River Soil and Water Conservation District’s Conservationist of the Year banquet.
