Faith Equestrian takes home medals from state horse show

Four athletes from Faith Equestrian Therapeutic Center won a total of 10 medals at the state Special Olympics horse show in Gainesville.

Lauren Todd took home three silver medals, in showmanship beginner 1, English equitation beginner 1 and trail beginner 1.

Michael Holton Jr. also won three medals, a silver in trail advanced 1 and bronze in both showmanship advanced 1 and English equitation intermediate 1.

Erin Pevey earned two gold medals, in showmanship intermediate 1 and English equitation intermediate, and took fourth place in trail intermediate 1.

Avril Hubbard won a gold medal in trail beginner 2 and a bronze in showmanship beginner 2, and finished fourth in English equitation beginner 2.
