Before 8 a.m. Saturday morning, Alex Partain, his brother Daniel and a few others made their way down Appaloosa Way to get the horses ready for the day of lessons ahead. Lessons began around 9:30 a.m. and the horses had been fed and walked, tacked and brushed, while Alex Partain made the schedule for each of the students, volunteers and horses at Faith Equestrian Therapeutic Center. Most of the volunteers, under Bonnie Rachel Gentry’s direction, will spend the rest of their Saturday at the center and Saturdays to come.
