Two historic area churches will host celebrations this week. Eden Missionary Baptist celebrates 151 years; and Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church is hosting Family and Friends Day this weekend. The public is invited to both events.

Eden Missionary Baptist Church, 435 Dogwood Way, Eden, will be celebrating its 151st Church Anniversary with celebrations June 1-2 and June 4.

June 1, 7 p.m., Pastor Harden and Macedonia MBC, Guyton

June 2, 7 p.m., Pastor Brown and Goodwill MBC Rincon

June 4, 1 p.m., Pastor German

June 4, 2:30 p.m., Pastor Piper and St. John Devine Baptist Church, Pooler

The Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 764 Central Blvd., Guyton, will host its annual Family and Friends Day Saturday, June 3, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. with a picnic in the church parking lot.  Family Day Services will be held Sunday, June 4, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
