Special to the Herald
Effingham County 4-H extends its congratulations to all the students for their Mini Booth Exhibits. Students displayed their talents by filling 73 booths at the Effingham County Fair in Springfield, showcasing a wide array of educational topics.
Effingham County students had the opportunity to express their interests and share valuable knowledge with the community. The 4-H students’ hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm truly stood out.
Thanks to the Effingham Farm Bureau, the Effingham Fair Committee, and Effingham County 4-H, students were judged and awarded prizes for their efforts. Judging took place across three age divisions (4th-5th grade, 6th-8th grade, and 9th-12th grades), with participants receiving a blue, red, or white ribbon. Every participant received a Chick-fil-A gift card, courtesy of Rincon Chick-fil-A.
All booths, except for the Grand Champion, were re-evaluated for the best in each of the following categories within each age division: Originality of Idea, Neatest Overall, Creativity in Theme, Educational Value, and Best Floor Display.
