Effingham County Recreation and Parks held its annual egg hunt March 31 at the ECRP offices in Springfield.
More than 120 egg hunters, from infants to age 12, turned out. There were six hunts, with kids divided by age groups.
There also were two bounce houses for the children to enjoy, and they received hot dogs, potato chips and many other treats.
The event was free but a donation of a canned food item was collected from each family to assist with local food pantries.
