Julie Dickey and Becky Lango of Effingham Family Promise presented to Effingham Women in Business at their October meeting.

Family Promise is a network of churches in Effingham County that will help homeless children and their families turn 180 degrees from homelessness to economic independence.

Volunteers will bring hot meals and spend time fellowshipping with guest families.

Donors are encouraged to consider gifts of $180 annually, which will provide computers for online job applications, laundry facilities and showers/bath tubs for up to four families at a time.

To learn more about getting involved, call Family Promise of Effingham at (912) 268-0373 or visit www.effinghamfamilypromise.org.
