SouthCoast opens Rincon office

The Effingham Chamber of Commerce was on hand as the SouthCoast Medical Group cut the ribbon on its new Rincon office at 613 Towne Park West Dr. on Wednesday afternoon.

The Rincon office is the 13th location for SouthCoast, said administrator John Marrero. SouthCoast has 59 providers in four counties, with more than 400 employees. 

"We're thrilled we have the opportunity to open an office in Rincon," he said. "We see this as a vital area and a growing community."

Dr. Amanda Hendricks is opening her pediatrics practice at SouthCoast's Rincon office. Though the Rincon office will be pediatrics, SouthCoast is a multi-specialty group, Marrero said, with a large primary care component.
