A workshop entitled “Thinking of Starting A Business” will be held Sept. 25 in the conference room of the Small Business Assistance Center, 111 East Liberty St., Savannah.  The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center and the Service Corps of Retired Executives sponsor these events.

The workshop will cover the basics of business startup including the traits of successful entrepreneurs, market research, legal structures for business, estimating start-up costs and cash flow projections, financing alternatives, failure factors and business planning. The cost of this seminar is $50 per person if you pre-register and pre-pay before the day of class. Registration is $60 at the door. Discounts are available for business partners or spouses. A detailed workbook and other resource materials will be provided.
