Rincon Police Department and Rincon Fire Department responded to an overturned cement truck just off Hwy 21 near the railroad tracks around 11 a.m. Sept. 18.

Traffic was backed up briefly northbound, and then southbound, as emergency vehicles were situated at the scene.

According to the Rincon Police Department, the driver was able to walk away with only minor injuries.

The Herald reached out to the manager of Evans Concrete’s Springfield office who said he couldn’t comment on the accident.
