The Rincon Police Department has arrested four people on separate burglary charges.

According to Chief Mike Bohannon, Autumn White, 21, Sean Conn, 19, of Rincon, Ricky McCollum, 19, of Rincon and a 14-year-old juvenile have been taken into custody.

Bohannon said that White and Conn were arrested Thursday at 6 p.m. at their residences after a lengthy investigation disclosed that they entered a residence and removed two shotguns on March 2.  One of the firearms has been recovered and White and Conn are incarcerated in the Effingham County Jail.

The Rincon Police Department received a 911 call Friday morning at approximately 10:30 a.m. and the caller said they witnessed two males enter an Anderson Street home. As officers arrived, they saw McCollum and a juvenile coming out the back door of the residence. Further investigation revealed that McCollum and the teen had gained entry by forcing open the front door. McCollum was arrested and taken to the Effingham County Jail. The juvenile was processed and released to his parents.
