Ty’dre Jakia James On’ Lee, Hwy 21S – illegal tint on windows, driving while license is suspended, wanted person for “failure to appear.”

Michael Austiin Lowe, S. Laurel Street – illegal use of wireless device, driving while license is suspended.

Octavia Dominique Hall, Hwy. 21 N – wanted person in Effingham County.

Melissa N. Jackson, Hwy. 21 bypass – wanted person in Chatham County.

Incidents

Magnolia Drive – a man reported that a driver of a brown van had followed his daughter to his residence; then when she left a few minutes later, the same brown van appeared at the entrance to the neighborhood and followed her all the way to Pooler via surface streets.

S. Laurel Street – a woman reported that while her car was parked in the parking lot of the Effingham County Administration building, an unknown vehicle struck her car and left damage with white paint transfer to the side bumper, rearview mirror and door of the passenger side of her car.

Vincentino Yhoiser Perez, Little McCall/McCall North – failure to obey stop sign, driving without a license.

Matthew Scott Callaway, S. Columbia Ave. (Hwy. 21) – wanted person, criminal interference with government property, fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement.

Kevin Beadle, Hwy 21/Old Augusta Road – DUI, speeding in excess of posted speed limit (89 in posted 45 mph zone), fleeing law enforcement, reckless driving, improper lane change, passing on shoulder, obstructed or missing license plate, willful obstruction of law enforcement officer.

Incidents

I-95 Effingham/Chatham County line – a woman reported she was behind a truck carrying construction equipment. A piece of metal flew off the truck, hitting her left headlight and damaging it.

Fifth Street – a woman reported she was receiving threatening texts from ex-roommates demanding money she allegedly owes. The texts threatened bodily harm to the woman.

Savannah Portside – a man reported that a recently terminated employee refused to leave the property, but eventually left after making threats. The terminated employee returned later with more people and continued making threats.

Sand Hill Road – a woman reported that she had an argument with her intoxicated husband that turned physical. He had an injured finger but refused to be transported to the hospital for treatment.

Brogdon Road – a woman reported that while she was feeding hunting dogs for a friend, one of the dogs bit her hand. Deputy met her at Effingham Hospital where she was getting the bite treated.

Edwards Court – a man reported that he had left his firearm in his work truck, but when he returned, the firearm was no longer in the truck. The missing firearm is a Glock 42, serial number ABCX 476, 380 caliber.

Friendship Road – a man reported that when he informed his nephew that he (the nephew) was not receiving any inheritance from a deceased relative, the nephew allegedly responded, “I’ll burn your house down!”

Douglas Road – a woman reported that her husband and her daughter had a heated argument; both parties left the scene before deputies arrived.

Kolic-Helmey Road – a woman reported that she and her husband had a heated argument that turned physical.

Frederick Street – a man reported that an unknown person hacked his cell phone and several credit card accounts. He wanted the incident documented to help him get a new cell phone and his identity restored.

Caribbean Village Drive – a woman reported that she had purchased a 2019 Jaguar for $12,300 in Brooklyn, NY; but when she attempted to register the vehicle in Georgia, the vehicle was identified as stolen from DeKalb County, Georgia. The vehicle was towed to Effingham County Sheriff’s office to hold. The woman has also informed New York authorities regarding the fraud.

Pecan Lane – a woman reported that her husband had gone to her mother’s house and taken their children. The woman does not know where her husband has taken them. She was advised that since they were still married, it is not a custody issue.

Old Augusta Road – a woman reported that she and her live-in male companion had been arguing over several days and she wanted him to move out.

Beebe Road – a man reported that while he was jogging, a pick up truck with two occupants allegedly drove aggressively next to him, causing him to be sprayed with dirt and rocks as it passed.

Beebe Road – a woman reported she was being harassed by her housemate and the housemate’s boyfriend.

Western Red Cedar Drive – a woman reported that she and her husband had been arguing over several days and their son’s disrespect was the main issue.
