Arrests/Citations

Ronald Alan Kicklighter, Goshen Road, Rincon – criminal trespass, simple battery, public drunkenness.

Abel Baca Marin, Church Road/Sixth Street, Guyton – failure to use signal, open alcohol container, DUI.

Mario Alberto Chaves Rodriguez, Hwy. 17/Fourth Street, Guyton – driving while unlicensed.

Jeremy Coleman Keller, Hwy. 80, Bloomingdale – DUI, open alcohol container.

Wesley Dashaun Johnson, Hwy. 21/Old Tusculum Road, Springfield – citations issued for failure to maintain lane, possession of marijuana less than 1 oz.

Nicholas E. Seagroves, Hwy. 80, Bloomingdale – criminal trespass.

Matthew Mobley, Hwy. 21/Commerce Drive, Rincon – speeding in excess of posted speed limit (86 mph in 55 mph zone), DUI.

Jeremiah Roland Barber, Old River Road, Bloomingdale – possession and use of a Schedule I substance, possession of drug-related paraphernalia, possession of a firearm during commission of a crime.

Tabetha Williams, Hwy. 17/Hwy. 80, Bloomingdale – driving while unlicensed, no registration (missing plates.)

Courtney Nicole Conklin, McCall Road/Powerplant, Rincon – citations issued for speeding in excess of posted speed limit (60 mph in 45 mph zone) and driving while license is suspended.

Hector Alexis Vegas Rojas, Blue Jay Road/Hodgeville Road, Springfield – driving while unlicensed, no insurance.

Incidents

River Oak Drive, Bloomingdale – a woman reported that her ex-boyfriend keeps showing up at her house upset at their relationship status. Deputies advised her to obtain a temporary protection order.

Effingham County Hospital – a man reported that his live-in girlfriend’s two dogs (pit bulls) attacked his dog when he attempted to let it out of its crate. The pit bulls allegedly bit the man on his arm multiple times. He is unsure of the pit bulls’ rabies vaccination status. The man was informed of the quarantine procedures.

Effingham County Hospital – a woman reported that while sitting in a neighbor’s backyard, a dog came from another neighbor’s house and bit her.

McCall Road South, Rincon – a man reported that a passenger of a Tesla threatened to kill him.

Jennifer Circle, Rincon – a man reported that another man threatened to kill him.

Hwy. 17S, Guyton – a woman reported that another woman pointed a firearm at her and her house; the first woman also stated that the second woman is shooting behind the house.

Wildwood Lane, Guyton – a man reported that another man confronted him with a pistol while the first man and a friend were metal detected on a vacant lot. The second man denied having a pistol. Deputies advised the first two men to be mindful of where they travel and use metal detectors to make sure the area is legally accessible.

Old River Road/Stonegate Drive, Bloomingdale – a rock allegedly from a passing semi truck, struck the windshield of a deputy’s patrol car causing large bullseye and cracks.

Zittrourer Road, Guyton – a woman reported that a male former employee owes her transport company more than $1,100. The former employee also threatened to contact ICE to deport the woman’s husband, but the woman said her husband is a legal citizen. The woman wanted the incident documented for pending legal action.
