Arrests/Citations

Alexander Huff, Frontage Road – wanted person for probation violation

Lori Marie Weiser, Frontage Road – obstructing or hindering law enforcement

William M. Perez, Hwy. 21/Chimney Road – Possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, DUI.

John Thomas Ward, Hwy. 80/Old River Road – citation issued for failure to maintain lane (not DUI.)

Alexander Perez DeLeon, Laurel Street – driving without valid license.

Johnny Junior Jackson, Laurel Street – citation issued for driving without insurance; providing alcohol to a minor.

 

Incidents

Mockingbird Road – a man reported that his ex-girlfriend knocked their TV off the wall and damaged it without provocation.

Old Augusta Road – a man reported that a dog belonging to his niece bit the man’s wife on her left arm. The dog is current on its vaccinations. The woman was treated at Effingham Hospital and is doing fine.

Lakeshore Road – a woman reported that she heard an unknown male voice outside her residence talking to her dogs when they began barking. Deputies investigated and found no persons outside the residence nor signs of forced entry.

Standard Lane – a man reported that the mother of his brother’s children was stalking his brother and was not welcome on the property.

S. Laurel Street – a man reported he was receiving threatening texts demanding payments of $2,000 and then $3,000.

Savannah Portside International Parkway – a woman reported that another woman she agreed to meet to pick up a title for a car the first woman purchased failed to show up and instead wanted to meet in Hinesville.

Braves Field Drive – deputies responded to the residence where a man’s ex-wife and current wife were having a verbal confrontation regarding co-parenting of a minor child during a custody exchange.

Old River Road – deputy responded to reports of a woman walking barefoot along the road in 20-degree weather. The woman agreed to be transported to Effingham Hospital for evaluation.

Patterson Drive – a man reported that an unknown person in a pickup truck pulled into his driveway and continued through. The man wanted the incident documented in case there were issues found later.

Ebenezer Road – a woman reported that while her car was parked at Ebenezer Middle School, an unknown person or object caused a crack to form on the windshield of her car. She wanted the incident documented for insurance purposes.

Corral Drive – a woman reported that she and her father had a verbal argument over the woman putting her dog in a crate while she ate. The argument was over putting the dog in a crate rather than training it to not beg.

River Oak Drive – a man reported that the landlord (the man’s father) entered his residence and turned off the water and power. The first man told deputies he is working on moving out by the end of the year.

Sparrow Lane – a woman reported that she and her boyfriend had another verbal altercation, which is an ongoing issue. The boyfriend had left the residence prior to deputy’s arrival.

Colonial Way – Springfield PD and ECSO responded to a residence after reports of shot fired. No one inside the residence admitted to firing a gun; but the neighbors had video of an unknown male firing a gun and shell casings were found outside.
