Hyungu Cho, I-16/MM 150, Bloomingdale – driving while license is suspended, speeding in excess of posted speed limit (90 mph in 70 mph zone), driving an unregistered vehicle.
Joshua Jacobs, McCall/Powerplant, Rincon – citations issued for speeding (61 mph in a 45 mph zone) and driving with a suspended license.

Incidents
Riverbranch Road, Bloomingdale – a woman reported that she was approached by a male neighbor who told her he believed an unknown person was attempting to climb into a window of her mobile home in the middle of the night.
Hwy. 80, Bloomingdale – a man reported that he was struck in the face by a former friend during an argument.
Hwy. 80, Eden – a man reported that his daughter goes to the cemetery and removes flowers he places on the grave of his deceased daughter.
Zeigler Road/Community Road, Bloomingdale – a man reported that either he or the other driver swerved too close to the center line and their sideview mirrors made contact enough to cause damage to the man’s mirror. He said he turned around attempting to catch up with the other driver, but was unsuccessful.
Scholar Road, Guyton – a man reported that another man who was installing a pool in his yard became belligerent and began poking him in the chest.
Effingham Hospital – a man reported that while he tried to separate his two dogs that were fighting, one dog bit him on the thumb. He didn’t believe the bite was intentional. The dog is current on its rabies vaccine and will be quarantined for 10 days.
Effingham Hospital – a woman reported that she was bit on the hand by her cat while she was playing with it. The cat is current on its rabies vaccine.
Effingham Hospital – a woman reported that she was bit on the hand, then on the face by her neighbor’s great Dane while she was at the neighbor’s house doing her laundry with their permission. The woman did not know why the dog bit her. The dog is current on its rabies vaccine.
Barclay Place, Bloomingdale – a man reported that he was receiving threatening calls from a man named “Jose” claiming that the man owed him money for using an escort service. The man said he had never used an escort service. The man was told this is a common scam tactic, and was advised to call 9-1-1 if anyone appeared at his residence threatening him.
Withlacoochee Ave., Springfield – a woman reported she received a scam phone call demanding she owed $937 to “East Georgia Regional” but that the amount with fees and interest was now $5,000. Deputy informed her this was a common scam tactic and was given guidance on how to avoid further contact with the caller.
Old Augusta Road, Rincon – a woman reported that a male contractor became upset when informed that his load was not ready for him to haul.
Golden Road, Rincon – a woman reported that a CSX machine propelled a rock toward her vehicle that damaged the rear window of her vehicle.
Smithwick Trail, Rincon – a man reported he received a package in the mail regarding “Smith and Branson Fence Services” in Guyton. The man is concerned that this company used his name without his knowledge to form an LLC.
Bethany Road, Springfield – a man reported that he lost his wallet while at a music festival in Statesboro.
Hwy. 21S, Rincon – a woman reported she had left her firearm in a car she had rented. Deputy met with the manager and confirmed the firearm was not stolen. The firearm was transported to ECSO and placed in the property room for safekeeping. The owner was contacted and informed where she could retrieve her firearm.
