Arrests/Citations

Shannon Booker, Hwy. 119 and Crossgate Drive – citations issued for expired tags and driving without insurance.

Lee Kinard Sheppard, Old River Road – driving while license is suspended.

James Re’Mone Lockett, Zoller Road – public drunkenness.

Shatorria Azure Morgan, Lord Effingham Way – possession of marijuana

Jalisia Ashonte Gaylor, Lord Effingham Way – battery

Joel Morales, Hwy, 119S – shoplifting, fleeing/attempting to elude police

 

Incidents

Hwy. 80 – a woman reported that she and her son had a verbal argument and he threatened her.

Westminster Court – a woman reported that she and her daughter have had ongoing disputes because the daughter is taking the husband’s side in the divorce proceedings.

Hodgeville Road – a man reported that an unknown person or thing caused damage to the roof of his vehicle.

Lexus Court – a woman reported that she and her husband had a verbal argument that turned physical.

Pine Street – a purse was found at the courthouse containing ID and various items. Deputies were able to find the owner and after the woman identified what was inside the purse, it was returned to her.

Hwy. 21S – a man reported that while he was inside the DMV, an unknown vehicle struck his vehicle. Deputies are reviewing video footage to determine what happened.

Ferncliff Court – a woman reported that she had been the victim of identity theft.

Hwy. 119N – a man reported that he is having ongoing trespassing issues with a neighbor. The neighbor was giving a warning and told if she violated the warning, she would be subject to arrest.

Ogeechee River Drive – a woman reported that she and her son had a verbal argument about letting his girlfriend move into the house.

ECSO office – a man reported that an unknown man had threatened the first man’s wife.

Cypress Ridge Run – a woman reported via phone that she believed her house was being burglarized as she saw an unknown male on her porch via her Ring video system. Deputies arrived and observed the front door opened; they investigated and secured the home noting that nothing seemed to be disturbed or taken.

Crossgate Way – deputies responded to a vehicle crash, but the driver had left the scene. A billfold with ID was found and Pooler PD called the owner of the vehicle. The owner stated his son drives the car and he gave officers his son’s number. Officers were unsuccessful in contacting the son and his billfold was taken to the ECSO office for safekeeping.

Thoroughbred Drive – a man reported that he and his son were having an argument. Deputies arrived on scene and determined the son may have been under the influence of unknown drugs. The father wanted to leave the residence while his son was in this condition.

Hwy 21N – Springfield PD responded to a man who reported that while at Parker’s his truck rolled back and struck the metal bar in front of a gas pump. A Parker’s employee observed no damage to the metal bar. The man stated that his truck has manual transmission and maybe the parking brake did not engage.

Springfield PD Dept. – The Springfield PD reports that it has the following items locked in the evidence vault awaiting to be claimed by their owners. The items were turned in during the Effingham Fair: 4 Cash App cards, 2 Navy Federal cards, 1 Way2Go card, 1 Capital One card, 1 Colombia passport, and a brown wallet containing a Georgia leaner’s permit. One Cash App card and the brown wallet have been returned to their owners.

Zoller Road – Springfield PD responded to the parking lot at the Effingham Fair where two adjacent vehicles had windows smashed. Officers were able to lift a partial handprint from one vehicle, but neither vehicle appeared to have anything missing.

Second Street – an anonymous caller reported that a man and woman were having a heated argument. The man was gathering his possessions to move out.
