Arrests

Kori Meeks Black, Kensington Circle – criminal trespass

Troy Rochford, Beagle Street – wanted person

Kenna Smiley, Wood Duck Way – battery, family violence (first offense)

Lawrence C. Williams, Hwy. 21S – driving without a license.

Rudy Brendan-Ja Blow, Hwy. 21 Bypass – possession and use of drug-related object, possession of marijuana.

Shamar Antwan Cope, Hwy. 21 Bypass – wanted person in Chatham County.

 

Incidents

Gateway Parkway – a man reported that an unknown person attempted to fraudulently add themselves as an administrator on the company’s account.

Sawyer Trail – a man reported that an unknown person or person(s) burglarized 13 unoccupied houses and allegedly took several items including refrigerators, stoves and range tops, microwave ovens, washing machines and dryers, outside a/c units, and smoke detectors. The case is under investigation and ECSO is providing extra patrol in the area.

Clayton Bluff – a woman reported that two men whom she allowed to temporarily live in a camper on her property broke her rule of “no alcohol” on the property and she wanted them to leave.

Westminster Drive – a woman reported that she observed an “L-shape” cut in a window screen and thought maybe an unknown person had attempted to break into their house. Deputy did not see any other signs of attempted forced entry.

Goshen Road – a USPS employee reported that she was bitten by three aggressive dogs – appearing to be pit-terrier mixes -- while attempting to deliver a package to the address. Deputy called for backup and Animal Control who was able to get the dogs back into the house and close the doggie door. The homeowner was not home at the time. Family members arrived and informed the deputies that the dogs are known to be aggressive toward others.

Josiah Morgan Road – a man reported that as he was returning home, he observed a dark-colored SUV driving well above the speed limit on his street.

Pine Street – a woman reported that four beagles came into her yard and one was fighting with her black dog. She stated this is an on-going issue, but she doesn’t know who owns the beagles.

Hyacinth Circle – a man reported that some time while he was on vacation in Orlando, an unknown person may have stolen his firearm which was in the driver’s side door of his vehicle. The firearm (Glock Gen 4 9mm #BDUP016) was entered into GCIC/NCIC as stolen.

Noel C. Conway Road – a man reported that he wanted another man whom he had previously hired for odd jobs around the house, to leave. The alleged trespasser was intoxicated and deputies waited until he could be picked up by a family member.

Knotty Pine Circle – Springfield PD responded to an activated residential alarm and spoke with the homeowner via the home security camera. After another officer arrived the house was checked for any signs of forced entry or any missing items. Officers determined the back door may not have been securely locked when last used.
