Arrests/Citations issued

Michael Okeke Daniels, SR 21/Egypt-Ardmore Road – Seatbelt violation, driving with suspended license, mudflap violation (log truck); truck driving in left lane of two-lane highway.

Juan Manuel Cantero Perez, Sandhill Road/Stagefield Road – citations issued for registration requirements, driving with canceled/suspended registration, no insurance.

Damond Lee Waldron, Hwy 21 Bypass – Driving while license is suspended.

Katherine Newman, Hwy 21 Bypass – Wanted person in Bulloch County.

 

Incidents

Hwy. 17N – a man reported a vehicle fire. However, he left the scene before a report could be completed. The fire was extinguished and the vehicle was towed.

Hwy 21 S – a man and a woman reported that two men (known to them) have been taking items from their shed and/or breaking items in the shed.

ECSO Office – a man reported that he is receiving harassing phone calls from a former employee who also allegedly tampered with his business’ social media and web pages, allegedly causing him to lose business income.

Godley Road – a man reported that he and his girlfriend had a verbal argument and nothing physical happened.

McCall Road – a woman reported her vehicle caught fire. Rincon FD extinguished the fire and the vehicle was towed.

Laurel Street – a man reported that his neighbor’s dog was running loose and had entered his yard. Similar complaints have been filed in the past. The dog’s owner was issued a warning about keeping his dog on a leash whenever it goes outside.

Laurel Street – a woman reported that the husband of a customer threatened to do vandalism at her business because he was upset about the fees he was charged. Springfield PD officer said he would conduct extra patrols at night.
