Arrests

James Lee Smith, Hwy 21 (Enterprise Rent -a-Car) – felony theft

Terry Eugene Jordan, Courthouse Road – driving while license is suspended for “failure to appear.”

Jessica Buckner, Nease Road – pedestrian under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Rakeil Takilo Latrel Howard, Hwy. 21S – wanted person in Hinesville.

 

 

Incidents

Hwy. 119 S – a woman reported that her son’s pants and car keys were possibly taken by mistake from a locker room after a football game.

River Oak Drive – a man reported that as he has been cleaning out his house after the flooding, an unknown person has been taking bags of clothes and other items from his porch.

Deerfield Road – a man reported that he argued with his niece’s boyfriend and asked the boyfriend to leave.

Goshen Road – a bank employee reported that a customer came into the bank to cash a check, but the bank employee suspected the check to be fraudulent. Springfield PD officer talked with the customer, but was unable to determine if the customer was attempting to commit fraud or was being used by a third party to commit the fraud.

New Stillwell Road – a man reported that he was expecting to receive a new iWatch as part of the promotion. However, the package arrived without the watch. He was advised to file a police report so the iWatch could be replaced.
