Arrest

Melinda Poole, Melrose Place – wanted person in Bryan and Chatham counties; criminal trespass, giving false information to law enforcement.

 

Incidents

River Oak Drive – a woman reported that while she was out of her house due to a flood, an unknown person entered her house and allegedly stole several tools, three TVs, a DVD player and a large home-stereo system.

Hartwell Drive – a woman reported that a diamond necklace valued at $600 is missing from her closet. She told deputies she has had guests in her house recently, but just noticed the jewelry was missing.

Millstone Court – a woman reported that her ex-husband is being rude and harassing her via phone.

Pine Road – a woman reported that she and her neighbor had a verbal altercation regarding the neighbor’s chickens coming into the woman’s yard and the woman’s dog chasing the chickens.

ECSO Office – a man reported a road rage incident that took place in the vicinity of Hwy 119 and Hwy 21. There was no vehicular contact or physical altercation.

Oliver-Kildare Road – a man reported that sometime between midnight and 4 a.m. and unknown person entered his property and stole two puppies – one male and one female – one puppy is black and white, the other is brown and white. The puppies were not confined and roamed freely in the yard.

Wildwood Lane – a woman reported that a company she hired to build a pole barn on her property has not finished the job even though she has paid approximately $50,000 for it.

Blue Jay Road – deputies responded to an active home alarm and arrived to find a side door to the residence open. Deputies investigated and determined nothing was out of place or missing; and the door might have been unsecured and blown open by a gust of wind.

Blue Jay Road – a man reported that his son has been disconnecting the camera system on the small shop on his property and allegedly taking items. The man said he would not press charges this time, but he would press charges if his son continued to disconnect the camera and take things from the shop.
