Arrests

Devin Jemar Bostick, SR 21/Fort Howard Road – DUI, open alcohol container in car, seatbelt violation, crack windshield, non-working brake light, impeding traffic in left lane.

Candice Monique Banks, SR 21/Fort Howard Road – Terroristic threats, obstruction of law enforcement officers, seatbelt violation.

Andres Sanchez, Hodges Road/Goshen Road – DUI, reckless driving, driving in excess of posted speed limit (88 mph in 35 mph zone); driving while unlicensed, no tags, operating off-road vehicle on roadway.

James Coranel Nelson, Gracen Road/Louisville Court – Reckless driving, DUI.

Jamir Davone Harris, SR 21/Old Augusta Road – DUI, knowingly driving with a suspended license, nonworking taglight.

Brenda Fay Scarborough, Reynard Drive – willful obstruction of a law enforcement officer.

Douglas Allen Jones, SR 21/Ebenezer Road – DUI, driving while unlicensed, no insurance, felony fleeing a police officer, reckless driving, driving on the wrong side of the road, failure to maintain lane, no license plate on vehicle.

Eduin Chacon, Hwy. 80/Meldrim Road – DUI, failure to dim high beams to approaching traffic, driving while unlicensed, open alcoholic beverage containers in vehicle.

John Louis Smart, SR 21/Goshen Road – Driving with a suspended license, failure to yield to emergency vehicle, illegal use of passing lane, defective or insufficient brakes.

Gia Pierce, SR 21/Westwood Drive – driving while license suspended or revoked, speeding in excess of posted limit (60 mph in 45 mph zone).

Jamesha Quiona Horne, Western Red Cedar Drive – criminal trespass, family violence.

Darius Stewart, Hwy. 17/Jabez Jones Road – speeding in excess of posted speed liming, driving while license suspended due to “failure to appear.”

Crystal Nichole Ridulfo, Hwy. 21/Fort Howard Road – driving while license suspended.

 

Citation issued

John Lloyd, Goshen Road/Crystal Drive – citation issued for riding an offroad vehicle on a public roadway, (second offense); no insurance, and failure to wear a helmet. Vehicle was impounded.

Qingshun Ren, Paddleford Drive – citation issued for aggressive dog on the loose; no proof of current rabies vaccination for the dog.

 

Incidents

Jenifer Circle – a woman reported that her ex-girlfriend took the first woman’s phone during an altercation and refused to return it.

Effingham County ER – a man reported that he sustained a leg injury during an fight with another man.

Westwood Drive – a man reported that he has received numerous phone calls regarding access to his electronic devices and personal information. He believes his information has been used fraudulently.

Altamonte Drive – a woman reported that she and her husband had an argument that turned physical while in Savannah.

Blue Jay Road – a woman reported that while the groundskeeper at a church was cutting the grass, a rock flew out at damaged the windshield of the woman’s car.

River Ridge Drive – a man reported that his neighbor shot the man’s roommate’s dog because the dog was trespassing repeatedly on the neighbor’s property.

Majestic Drive – a woman reported that she wanted her father cited for criminal trespass and for him to leave her property.

Hwy 17 – deputies responded to a welfare check requested by a family member.

Wessex Drive – a man reported he was scammed out of $400 when an unknown caller told him he had missed jury duty and could avoid arrest by paying the fine via cryptocurrency.

Tackhouse Lane – a man reported that his ex-wife was at his residence to retrieve her belongings, even though their respective attorneys had not set up a mutually agreed-upon date and time.

ECSO Lobby – a man and a woman reported that they were being harassed via social media by a woman using fake duplicate accounts.

Sandhill Drive – a woman reported that she was having a disagreement with the owner of a boarding facility where she boarded her horses.

Willowbrook Lane – deputy responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle. Upon searching the residence, the deputy observed the back door appeared to have been kicked in. Deputy announced his presence but was unsuccessful finding anyone inside.

Beebee Road – a man and a woman reported that their neighbor is constantly trespassing on their property and recording video of them with his cell phone for no apparent reason.

Westwood Drive – a man reported he was scammed out of more than $3,000 (multiple payments) from someone claiming to be an escort, but instead the caller threatened the man’s family if he didn’t pay.

Dixie Drive – a woman reported that she has had ongoing issues with her identity being stolen and her credit being affected.

Saddlehorn Lane – Deputy responded to a report of an aggressive dog at large. After several attempts, the deputy was able to corner the dog on the porch and secure it with his catch pole. Deputy informed the owner’s daughter to tell the dog’s owner to contact ECSO when she returns from vacation. Deputy transported the dog to the county animal shelter.

John Glenn Drive – a man reported a bite from a feral cat on his property. After a couple of attempts, the cat was trapped by animal control and transported to the county animal shelter where it is being quarantined.
