Arrests

Kieth Marselle Milton, Hwy. 17/Hwy. 80 – speeding in excess of posted speed limit (62 mph in 45 mph zone), DUI.

Darius Mykell Lashawn Brooks, Hwy. 80/Chatham County Line -- speeding in excess of posted speed limit (62 mph in 45 mph zone), obstructing or hindering law enforcement officers.

Shantay Washington, Hwy. 17N – speeding in excess of posted speed limit (70 mph in 55 mph zone), driving while licensed is suspended, wanted person by Vidalia PD.

Jessica Drescher, Sandhill Road – simple assault, family violence.

Timothy Dixon, Hwy. 119/Standard Lane – driving while licensed is suspended.

Clayton Dewitt Carter, Railroad Avenue/Fourth Street – wanted person for probation violation.

Blossom Lee Wright, Caribbean Village Drive – criminal trespass, simple battery.

Devontra Tysean Bartley, Blue Jay Road -- speeding in excess of posted speed limit (60 mph in 45 mph zone), driving with suspended registration, wanted person for “failure to appear.”

Tae Woong Noh, Allatoona Lane – public drunkenness.

Malik Shaikeem Nathaniel Devoe, Hodgeville Road/Hillside Drive – driving with suspended license, speeding.

Mitchell Louis Fannon, 21 Spur – driving while license is suspended; wanted person by Rincon PD.

 

Incidents

Allatoona Lane – a man reported that an unknown person abandoned a vehicle that was blocking his driveway. ECSO had the vehicle towed.

ECSO lobby – a woman reported she had been the victim of financial fraud after applying online for a loan.

Sandhill Road – a man reported that a female relative whom he believed to be intoxicated had left the scene by car with her children in the back seat before law enforcement arrived. The woman allegedly ignored the children’s request to be dropped off at the house. The man wanted the incident documented.

Egypt-Ardmore Road – a woman reported that her live-in boyfriend had locked her out of the house. He told deputies a chair was in front of the door to keep the dogs from escaping.

Long Pond Road – Deputies responded to a house fire. Effingham County Fire responded to the scene and extinguished the fire.

Keylime Lane – a man reported that his mother had been drinking and became angry when he would not give her the keys to the car. She allegedly took a knife and slashed one of the truck’s tires.

Early Street – a woman reported to Springfield PD that while she and her children were away from her house, her husband, who is living in Clyo during divorce proceedings, entered her house and removed four cable boxes. The woman wanted the incident documented for court.

Mockingbird Drive – a woman reported that while she was away from her home, an unknown person or thing allegedly hit and caused the front door to bend. She told deputies she was the victim of a scam recently and thought this incident might be related to that.

Mockingbird Drive – a woman reported that she and her live-in boyfriend had a verbal argument that did not turn physical. The boyfriend had left the residence before law enforcement arrived.

Hwy. 119N – the manager of a Dollar General reported that a man has entered the store on numerous occasions and has acted disorderly in the store, including yelling at the employees. Deputies went to the man’s house and served a criminal-trespass ban.

Pine Road – a woman reported that she had been bitten by a brown female bulldog that belongs to a neighbor. The woman was treated on scene by EMS. The deputies were unsuccessful in contacting the dog’s owner.

Bluejay Road – a man reported that while his disabled vehicle was parked on the side of the road, an unknown person or thing broke the rear window. Nothing inside the vehicle appeared to be damaged or missing. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Triple-A.

GA Hwy 119N – a man reported that an unknown person(s) had attempted to withdraw funds from his business account. Three earlier unauthorized withdrawals totaling $810 were successful.

Ebenezer Road – a woman reported that her sister-in-law put a fence up blocking the woman from using the driveway to access the house. The house is co-owned by both women.

Noel C. Conaway Road – a man reported that he believes a tenant who rents a house on his property removed a chain-link fence and damaged the man’s washing machine.
