A Bloomingdale woman went to the Effingham County Jail to post bond for a friend Tuesday night, and wound up in jail herself.
Jeana Marie Harper, 28, was wanted in Bryan County for a probation violation.
The Effingham County Sheriff’s Office was waiting for Harper, after receiving information that a wanted person might arrive to bond someone out of jail.
“She was taken from the front lobby of the sheriff’s office back into the jail, where she was booked and processed,” said ECSO spokesman Detective David Ehsanipoor.
