Hannah Boyd, MSW, LCSW, director of informatics and organizational excellence for AuthoraCare Collective, was recently selected as one of Triad Business Journal’s 40 Leaders Under 40 for 2025. AuthoraCare Collective is a hospice care and support nonprofit organization with offices in Greensboro and Burlington, North Carolina.
Boyd is the daughter of Marsha and the late Richard Boyd of Rincon. She was the valedictorian of the Effingham County High School class of 2013. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 2017 and earned a master’s degree in social work from the University of North Carolina.
Boyd, along with the other nominees, will be celebrated at a ceremony on Feb. 20 at High Point University.
“Hannah leads with intentionality, vision, and emotional intelligence,” said Merrill Seyler, VP of Quality and Compliance at AuthoraCare. “She inspires and motivates those around her. She takes the initiative and is innovative.”
According to the company’s Facebook post, Boyd began her career with AuthoraCare as a hospice social worker. She was promoted to the Director of Informatics and Health Information in 2022 and over the past two years, she has redesigned the departments’ work to utilize the gifts and talents of each individual contributor, creating efficiencies and enhancing the contributions to the organization.
