The Effingham County Retired Educators Association will host its annual banquet Sept. 9 beginning at 11 a.m. The event will be held at the New Ebenezer Retreat Center, 2887 Ebenezer Rd., Rincon.

The event will include entertainment, recognition of scholarship recipients, a guest speaker, a short business meeting and a raffle.

Banquet tickets are $22 each and may be paid by Venmo to @Pamela-Anderegg. Checks may be made out to Effingham Retired Educators Association and sent to Pam Anderegg, 519 Ralph Rahm Rd., Rincon, GA 31326.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a raffle item (suggested $20-$25 range) and raffle tickets will be sold for $5 each to benefit the scholarship fund. Let Anderegg know if you plan to bring a raffle item.

All retirees are invited to attend and especially new 2024 retirees.
