The Effingham County School District invites all job seekers to the “Level Up Your Career!” Career Fair, Thursday, Feb. 6, from 4-7 p.m. at Effingham College & Career Academy, 2940 GA Hwy 21 S., Rincon.

The job fair will feature representatives from every school and department in the district, including Transportation, Maintenance, Nutrition, Technology, School Health, Social & Emotional Learning, the Department of Exceptional Students, and teaching positions for all subjects and grade levels.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet directly with school administrators and department leaders, explore a wide range of career opportunities, learn about the impactful work being done in Effingham County schools, and have on-site interviews. Whether you’re just starting your career, looking for a change, or interested in working in education, there’s a place for you here.

The district is actively hiring for teaching positions across all grade levels, subjects, and positions for departments, with a high demand for bus drivers, custodians, nutritional services staff, and paraprofessionals.

Additionally, there is a strong need for exceptional-student educators (adapted and general K-12), middle- and high school science and math teachers, school counselors, speech and language pathologists (SLP), Orientation and Mobility Specialist, teachers of the visually impaired, and high school JROTC instructors. These roles are vital to supporting students and ensuring the school system's success.
