SPRINGFIELD – The Effingham County Senior Citizens Center overflowed with good food and gratitude as they celebrated Thanksgiving a little early Thursday, Nov. 21.

Before being served a traditional Thanksgiving meal by center staffers, many of the nearly 50 members took advantage of an opportunity to share reasons they are thankful.

In addition, Pastor Larry Stricklin of Guyton Methodist Church delivered a message of encouragement.
