Special to the Herald

Senior Girl Scouts from Effingham County troops 30235 and 30055 started their summer off at the beach and the waves at Tybee Island. These girls are all in high school and love to experience new opportunities and adventures. Surfing has been on their list all year and they were excited to have had the chance to take a lesson together.  Many thanks to Hot Sushi’s Happy Surf Camp Aloha for being patient and fun; and for giving the girls the tools for them to be successful!  Shaka Shaka.

In Girl Scouts, girls in grades K-12 bring their dreams to life and work together to build a better world, knowing the next opportunity to stand up, speak up and take the lead is never far away. The possibilities for greatness are truly endless.
