The public is invited to attend the grand opening of the Effingham County Gymnasium at the Clarence E. Morgan Complex in Springfield.

The event is set Sunday at 3 p.m.

 The $4 million, 30,000-square-feet gym, funded by SPLOST, will offer two full-sized basketball courts, three volleyball courts, locker rooms and a concessions stand.  

Construction on the project started in February.
