Pfc. Anthony Christopher Ashe, 19, of Guyton, graduated from United States Marine Corps boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island on Jan. 3.

Ashe successfully completed 13 weeks of intensive basic training at MCRD Parris Island as one of 84 recruits in Platoon 3000. 

While in recruit training, he accomplished the following: private first class ranking and sharpshooter status.

 Following 10 days home on leave, he will report to Camp Lejune for one month at Military Combat Training then Military Occupation School for Landing Operations Specialists.
