The Effingham County Chamber of Commerce announces the Catalyst Business Summit, designed specifically for small-to-midsize businesses looking to innovate and grow. The event will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 13, beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the Mars Theatre in downtown Springfield.

The summit will feature a keynote from Bob Inglis, former U.S. Congressman and founder of republicEn, as the keynote speaker. Inglis will deliver “Changing Our Minds and Why We Should Admit When We’re Wrong,” focusing on the power of challenging assumptions and fostering change. His work on conservative climate solutions has been recognized nationally, offering a fresh perspective on leadership and adaptability.

Other featured speakers include Thomas & Hutton’s Cecilia Arango, presenting on redefining company culture, and Joe Marchese of Buddies and Blessings, discussing the importance of diversity in action.

The agenda includes Jeremy Swiller's workshop on leveraging artificial intelligence to drive business success. Saxton Smith from the FOX Theater will lead a seminar titled, "Curating Your Menu: Tailoring Your Products and Services to Your Unique Local Clients and Customers," providing practical strategies for creating a compelling and customer-focused business offering.

The Catalyst Business Summit is tailored to meet the unique needs of small and midsize businesses in Effingham County and the surrounding area.
