SPRINGFIELD – Brighter days – and nights – are ahead at McCall Park.
During a regularly scheduled meeting Jan. 7, the Effingham County Board of Commissioners approved a Musco Sports Lighting proposal for the popular facility at 5450 McCall Rd. in Rincon. The plan includes turnkey installation of state-of-the-art LED illumination systems for the softball fields.
The systems, which include supplemental walkway lighting, guarantee long-term performance with minimal maintenance. They are supported by a 25-year warranty covering materials and onsite labor.
The lighting project aligns with the county’s goals of improving recreational facilities and promoting community engagement.
