SPRINGFIELD — A Veterans Day program will be conducted at Veterans Park of Effingham County on Nov. 11 at 11 a.m.

Veterans Park is located across from the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office on Ga. Hwy 21.

Rep. Jon Burns of Georgia House Distict 159 will serve as the guest speaker. He is the House majority leader.

In case of inclement weather, the event will move to the Effingham County Board of Education, 405 N. Ash St., Springfield.
