RICHMOND HILL -- Effingham County's Julia Carter scattered six hits and notched nine strikeouts during an 8-0 win over Richmond Hill that clinched the Region 2-AAAAAA championship on Monday.

Caleigh Eubanks paced the Lady Rebels (19-3, 10-0) at the plate with three hits and four RBI. One of her hits was a double.

Addie Reynolds had two hits, including a double, and walked twice. She scored four times.

Morgan Coleman stroked two hits, including a double, and had two RBI.

Carter had one hit and two RBI.
