On Saturday, the South Effingham High School competition cheerleaders traveled to Northside High School in Warner Robins to compete in the Region 2-AAAAAA Championship hosted by Houston County.
After moving to up classification this year, the team knew there would be tough competition. It brought fans to their feet by scoring a season-high 103 points.
The cheerleaders are now preparing to compete at the GHSA State Championship on Feb. 16 in Macon.
