The Effingham County Recreation and Parks’ Flea girls (8 and under), out of Sand Hill, won the GRPA district softball tournament held in Swainsboro and will advance to the state tournament, to be played July 7-11.

Effingham County will host the Class A/B Mite girls (machine pitch) softball state tournament the week of July 7 and the Midget boys baseball state tournament.
